Ingredients
1 cup
Breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon
Mexican fiesta spice mix
Salt & Pepper to preferance
1 or 2
Eggs (beaten)
1 cup
Flour
2
Mahi Mahi fillets (cut into long strips)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Vegetable oil for frying
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup
Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon
Sriracha Sauce
2 teaspoons
Lemon juice
2 teaspoons
Soy sauce
Step by Step Instructions
- Mix the breadcrumbs, Mexican seasoning, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Beat the eggs in a 2nd bowl. Pour the flour into a 3rd bowl.
- Cover the strips in flour, soak them in the egg mixture, then cover both sides with breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat the oil to 350 degrees and fry the strips in batches for 3 or 4 minutes on each side. Set the finished strips aside on a paper towel lined plate or wire rack to drain.
- Mix all of the sauce ingredients together, then serve the strips and sauce.
