Ingredients
FOR THE VINAIGRETTE:
2 tablespoons
Dijon mustard
2 cloves
Garlic (minced)

Limes (juiced)
1/3 cup
Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon
Sumac

Salt & Pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Red pepper flakes (optional)
FOR THE SALAD:
4 cups
Green cabbage (shredded)
2 cups
Red cabbage (shredded)
1 cup
Shredded carrot
2
Green onions ( trimmed, chopped (both white and green parts)
1
Bell pepper (preferably red, cored and cut into thin sticks)
4 large
Radishes (halved and thinly sliced)
1 cup
Fresh parsley (chopped)
1/2 cup
Fresh dill (chopped)
1 teaspoon
Sumac
Salt
1 cup
Almonds (toasted & sliced)
Step by Step Instructions
- Whisk all of the ingredients in the vinaigrette section together in a bowl.
- Put both types of cabbage, the carrots, onions, red bell pepper, radishes, parsley and dill together in a large bowl and gently mix them together. Add the salt, sumac, and almonds, then gently toss again to combine.
- Pour the vinaigrette over the salad and gently toss again to combine. If possible, put the salad into the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour to let the vegetables absorb the flavors of the vinaigrette more.
